The Celtics will have a tough time the rest of the way against the Hawks without Avery Bradley
The Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks played one of the more exciting opening round NBA Playoff games on Saturday evening, with the Hawks coming away with the Game 1 win when all was said and done after a valiant Celtics comeback. However, things just got a lot tougher for the Celtics the rest of the way in this series.
After suffering an injury in the fourth quarter on Saturday, Celtics head coach Brad Stevens announced on Sunday that he expects Bradley to be out the rest of the way in this one.

Bradley was huge in fueling that comeback in the second half on Saturday night in Game 1 for the Celtics, but right after Boston took their first lead of the night, the star guard clutched his hamstring and crumbled to the floor. He would leave the game from that point, and really, judging from the looks of the injury, most people expected the worst news here.
For the season, Bradley was averaging 15.2 points per game, and as we saw on Saturday, was capable of putting this team on his back when they needed him. When it comes to a player like that, losing him for something as crucial as a playoff series is never a good thing.
Now all the Celtics can do is replace him as best they can and hope for the best play from everyone else going forward.
