Leah Still cheerleading at Penn State Spring Game is the best thing ever (Video)

Try, and fail, to watch Leah Still dance with Penn State’s cheerleading team without crying.

At Penn State’s spring game, there was no moment that was more noteworthy than Leah Still leading the team onto the field alongside the Penn State cheerleaders. Leah’s father, former Penn State star Devon Still, was famously a player for the Cincinnati Bengals who took a hiatus while his daughter was diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. Just a year ago, signs of the disease disappeared and her cancer is currently in remission.

Leah truly overcame the odds to beat cancer, and she helped celebrate that one-year anniversary by visiting her father’s alma mater, Penn State, and dancing with the cheerleaders during their spring game.

Before the game started, she led the team onto the field as well as the cheerleaders in a “Let’s go Penn State” chant. By the time she was through, there wasn’t one dry eye in the crowd:

It’s amazing to see Leah in great condition after all that she’s been through. The public support for the Still family has been overwhelming, and she seems very happy that her life is finally getting back together.

While Penn State is a program that has come under a lot of fire this decade, this was a well-organized move by the school, and one that should put them back in a lot of people’s good graces.
