A look at what channel to catch Clippers vs. Trail Blazers Game 1 in their first round series in the 2016 NBA Playoffs

Though there are far more talented teams in the 2016 NBA Playoffs, perhaps the best matchup of the eight first-round series is that between the Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers. Both teams have performed well for most of the season, but both teams have been inconsistent and both teams have glaring flaws that could take them down. That’s what makes coming into Game 1 of their series all the more exciting.

Los Angeles comes into this series having somehow remained afloat for most of the year without their All-Star power forward in Blake Griffin in the lineup. A quad injury and a broken hand suffered in a bizarre incident off the court kept the Clippers star out of action for some time. Blake is back now, but is looking still to recapture his form. As such, the onus is going to fall heavily on Chris Paul and DeAndre Jordan to lead the way while Griffin continues to find his footing.

The Trail Blazers have been arguably the biggest surprise in the league this season considering the talent and depth that they lost this offseason. However, Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum have been one of the most underrated and lethal backcourt duos in the NBA this season and Portland needs them to be just that in this series if they are going to compete with or bring down the Clippers.

All in all, every game of this series is going to be can’t miss TV—so be sure not to miss Game 1. Game 1 will be broadcast on TNT starting at 10:30 p.m. ET.
