The Los Angeles Clippers and the Portland Trail Blazers are all set to meet in the first round of the 2016 NBA Playoffs with Game 1 tipping off on Sunday night in STAPLES Center as the Clippers have homecourt advantage to start the NBA Playoffs. However, this should still be one of the most tightly contested and arguably one of the best series of the postseason.

For the Clippers, you obviously have Chris Paul playing at an extremely high level beside DeAndre Jordan that has helped the team to get to the No. 4 seed and to this point. However, the X-Factor for the Clippers is undoubtedly going to be the performance of star forward Blake Griffin as he still hasn’t looked like he’s back into form since returning from injury. If he can’t get in a groove, they might be upset early on. On the other side of the floor, it’s going to be the Trail Blazers’ backcourt with Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum leading the way for them and it will e that duo that swings the series in their favor or not.
