Here are some Game 1 highlights from Hassan Whiteside who completely took over.
One of the most important cogs of the Miami Heat has been center Hassan Whiteside. He is a great inside presence and can simply take over games with his pure athleticism. That’s what happened in Game 1 of the Heat’s first round series against the Charlotte Hornets. Whiteside averaged 14.2 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game during the regular season.
He finished Game 1 with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Charlotte simply did not have an answer for him around the rim. Whiteside proved what he is capable of when he’s hot. If he’s on his game, there aren’t too many players who can stop him. The Hornets must hope that he cools off or they have to find a way to stop him if they want to beat the Heat.
