NBA Playoffs: When is Heat vs. Hornets Game 2?
When will the Miami Heat and Charlotte Hornets play Game 2 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs?
The Miami Heat looked like the best team in the Eastern Conference in their Game 1 blowout of the Charlotte Hornets on the Sunday. Everyone that touched the floor for the Heat contributed in a big way and they showed that they might have the best depth of any roster in the NBA.
From the very beginning, the Heat ran all over the Hornets, as they compiled 41 points in the first quarter. They weren’t just an offensive power either. Hassan Whiteside held down the interior and the Heat showed off their defensive prowess as well.
The Hornets on the other hand, have to be wondering what they can do to stop all of the weapons that the Heat have on their roster. Their shot wasn’t falling and they have to find an answer for Whiteside. The two teams will meet again on Wednesday night for Game 2.
It’s a bit of an extended rest with the extra day off for both teams and it might be just what each side needs. The Heat looked very impressive and that’s the biggest takeaway thus far.
