Reggie Jackson told Cavs fans to ‘Get a life’
By Josh Hill
Reggie Jackson is already barking back at Cavs fans who are inside of his head.
If you wanted to know how long it would take for Cleveland Cavaliers fans to get into the head of Pistons guard Reggie Jackson, the answer was one game.
After the Game 1 in Cleveland — a game in which the Pistons lost 106-104 — Jackson was heckled by some Cavs fans as he left the court. He responded by telling those fans to ‘get a life’.
While it’s not that big of a deal that Jackson responded to the hecklers, it kind of is when put into the context of his final quarter on the court. Jackson was one of the reasons the Pistons weren’t able to comeback and shock the Cavs in Game 1, as he lost his cool and started taking horrible shots late in the game.
At one point, Jackson was given a technical foul for screaming at an official for not calling a foul on a play where contact was pretty minimal. This came after Jackson got away with a few double-dribbles and before a possession in which he held onto the ball far too long.
It was a pretty awful Game 1 for Jackson and the fact that he’s already barking back at fans shows that he’s let too many voices inside of his head far too early in this series.
