Amazon Prime unleashes new viewing option for users
A more innovative way to stream has been made by Amazon
In the 21st century, technology has been evolving nonstop. The way people even watch movies and TV is different. With online sites like Netflix, there is no need to leave the house. The hassles of outside life mean nothing when you could pay to stream shows and movies in the comfort of your own house. What if people wanted more though? Amazon has asked that question and was able to answer it themselves. The result: more competition for Netflix.
According to Variety, Amazon is offering its own standalone video service for about $9 a month. The company already has a video subscription service, but this new option comes without Prime shipping. It costs about a dollar less than a popular Netflix plan. The streaming service will also offer a new payment option for full Prime membership that includes no annual commitment of $10.99 a month. The new service comes with a 30 day free trial.
This may be an innovative move on the part of Amazon. The company already streams some of the most popular shows out there. Shows like The Man in the High Castle, Transparent, Red Oaks and Hand of God have caught the eyes of viewers everywhere. With this new deal, fans of these shows will have easier access and more than one way to view it.
Amazon users will have access to this new feature starting Sunday at amazon.com/prime. In order to succeed, you have to adapt. Amazon has learned quickly and may be a force to be reckoned with in the future.
