Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets

The Golden State Warriors didn’t miss a beat coming off of their record-breaking 73-win season on Saturday in Game 1 of their first round series against the Houston Rockets in the 2016 NBA Playoffs. Even with Stephen Curry injuring his ankle (a minor injury, it should be said), the Warriors absolutely throttled the Rockets in ORACLE Arena. On Monday night, Golden State will be looking to do the same to take a 2-0 lead in the series.

Obviously everyone concerned with the Warriors is going to be watching Steph and monitoring his status for this game coming off of the ankle injury. Given how handily the Warriors beat up on the Rockets in Game 1, you have to wonder if Warriors head coach Steve Kerr will be cautious in this situation and sit the reigning MVP for Game 2. As for the Rockets, they have to do just about everything differently than they did in the first contest if they want to pick up a road win. Most importantly, though, James Harden and Dwight Howard are going to have to matter, which can’t be said of the duo from Game 1.

This game will be broadcast on TNT with live streaming on WatchTNT, which can be accessed using a cable or satellite subscription.
