For years, the New England Patriots had the honor of picking so high in the NFL Draft based on their bad performances on the field. For all the great picks in the last 15 seasons like Tom Brady, Vince Wilfork and Richard Seymour, there have been dozens of other players drafted by the Patriots who had fans screaming in pain about another losing season in the commonwealth.
Under the leadership of such coaches as Ron Meyer, Chuck Fairbanks and others, the Patriots limped through dealing with bad picks to get to the point they are at today.
