The reviews on the knee recovery of Myles Jack are less than promising to say the least
One of the more prominent names in the 2016 NFL Draft class is that of former UCLA linebacker/part-time running back Myles Jack. However, it’s not prominent for the reasons that we thought it would be about two years ago, as now the focus is on his recovery from a torn lateral meniscus that he suffered during his junior year last season.
And it doesn’t appear as if his recovery is opening anyone’s eyes in a positive light.
Philadelphia News’ Les Bowen noted on Monday that he heard from one source that Jack’s knee really could go out again at any minute, of course hurting his draft stock even more than it was before.
NFL source calls Myles Jack "a time bomb" whose knee could give him several good years, or not. Bone and cartilage starting to break away.

From there, Charean Williams, NFL reporter for the Fort-Worth Star Telegram, went ahead and agreed with this sentiment.
@LesBowen Yes, I have heard the same on Myles Jack. Real fears some in NFL have.

Certainly, this is not good news for a player that heading into the beginning of last season everyone was sure would be a top-10 pick by the time this draft rolled around.
But, the good news here is that teams have taken chances on players in Jack’s position before. The most recent case is the San Francisco 49ers taking a late flyer on former South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore. And although that didn’t work out in the end, he was still given a decent shot, which at this point is probably all Jack is asking for from a team.
We’ll seen in a couple weeks whether or not someone is willing to put these reports aside, step up and give Jack that chance that he’s wishing for.
