31.
Ereck Flowers won’t love this projection, but the Giants probably should.

It seems crazy for New York to pick an offensive tackle in the top ten for the second straight season, but with the way this mock has played out, this strategy represents the best value for the organization. Last season’s number one pick, Ereck Flowers, might be a better fit for the right side of the offensive line and, more than that, Ronnie Stanley is easily the best player available right here.

Furthermore, Stanley represents the end of a “tier” for me, as he is a legitimately elite prospect whereas the players from 11 to 31 in this draft aren’t quite on that level. Fans of the Giants would probably rather see a defensive upgrade or even a wide receiver to pair with Odell Beckham Jr., but Stanley looks like a future Pro Bowler at left tackle given the way that he moves and his overall pass-blocking profile.

If, for some reason, Myles Jack is available than New York should sprint to the podium to hand in the card with his name on it. If not, Ronnie Stanley is a heck of a fallback option, and the Giants could even look to move back to acquire multiple picks if they want to leave Flowers on the left side for the future.
. OT.
