35.
Remember when the Titans were on the clock for a few months? It is actually quite odd to consider Tennessee’s draft options at number 15, simply because they were assumed to have access to any player (cough, Laremy Tunsil, cough) that they wanted during this process. On an even more amusing note, the Titans end up with a player in Laquon Treadwell that would have made a ton of sense for the Rams before the trade ever happened.

Tennessee’s biggest need is probably at left tackle as presently constructed, but the top available tackle (Taylor Decker) is probably best suited for the right side and it isn’t as if the Titans don’t have more picks to fire on other options. With that out of the way, Treadwell is the top player remaining on McShay’s board, and the Titans could really use a number one receiver to pair with Marcus Mariota for the future.

In case you thought I had forgotten Kendall Wright, Dorial Green-Beckham or even Harry Douglas, I am aware that Tennessee has some respectable options at the position. Still, no player listed in the previous sentence looks like a no-doubt number one option to me, and Mariota needs a safer pick to grow with in the future.

This is certainly a best player available pick more than anything else, but Tennessee does have a need on the outside and the partnership works nicely here.
. WR. Ole Miss. Laquon Treadwell. 15. player
