Donald Trump has a very special supporter in the form of Bills coach Rex Ryan, who will introduce him at his rally in Buffalo.

In his short time as the Buffalo Bills coach, Rex Ryan has won over the city of Buffalo. He has already promised to be the longest-tenured coach in Bills franchise history, while his tireless work ethic and dedication towards winning is undeniable.

Now, it is his job to convince the people of Buffalo to support Donald Trump. He is an ardent supporter of the hopeful Presidential candidate and, per Mike Rodak of ESPN, will be the one to introduce him at a Trump rally:

That’s right: the most interesting character in football will cross paths with the most interesting character in politics. Trump clearly knows how much the people of Buffalo loves the Bills, which is why he wants to showcase himself in front of their head coach.

It seems like an obvious play for Trump to get votes in a local district – he’s done stranger things in the past – but he also wants to get his message across in a compelling way. While he will be talking to people who already support him, using Rex may be the best way to push undecided voters in his direction. Looks like the other candidates will need to step up and think of a more creative way to win back supporters.
