WWE RAW results, April 18, 2016: Live tracker

Live tracker for WWE RAW results on Monday, April 18 from London, England

With WWE Payback just two weeks away and the dust still settling from WrestleMania 32, WWE RAW has been must-watch TV over the past two weeks. With the show now heading overseas to London, England on Monday, though, things are bound to get even crazier now and the action on WWE RAW should be as furious as ever.

Roman Reigns is still the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but he has a formidable opponent coming after him in AJ Styles. Given that Luke/Doc Gallows and “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson appeared last week to jump The Usos on RAW, you have to wonder if they’ll have any involvement with the title match set for WWE Payback.

Also for Payback, Cesaro became the No. 1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship last week by defeating Kevin Owens. Now the Swiss Superman will turn his sights on The Miz (with Maryse now) and there could be some classic interactions between the two future opponents on WWE RAW in London.

Another things to watch is the fact that Shane McMahon has been given control of WWE RAW each of the past two nights. Unsurprisingly, the show has been fantastic both weeks—so you have to wonder if his match at Mania will continue not mattering and if he will again be in the picture on Monday night in London.

The Tag Team Tournament to determine the new No. 1 Contenders for The New Day’s belts wears on in London at WWE RAW as well as the new team of Enzo Amore and Big Cass continues to look fantastic while The Usos, The Dudley Boyz, and The Vaudevillains are still alive.

With WWE RAW in London, there is also always the chance that something unexpected could happen to appease the international fans. We’ll just have to wait and see, though.

You can follow along with all of the results from the April 18 episode of WWE RAW just below once the show airs at 8 p.m. ET. Also be sure to join in the discussion in the comments at the bottom of the page.

The Ambrose Asylum

Dean Ambrose opened up RAW with his talk show with guest Shane McMahon. However, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho joined him in the ring and matches were made for WWE RAW and for Payback.

Chris Jericho vs. Sami Zayn

Jericho and Zayn had a great match—that was admitted a bit quick—in London with both guys showing a lot in the ring. It looked like Sami was about to get the win, but Y2J pulled the ref in as a distraction, hit the Codebreaker, and picked up the pinfall victory.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Biz Cliz 4 Life

AJ Styles was backstage being interviewed when Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson showed up and greeted their old friend, largely just a “Hey, how are ya'” segment.

Tag Team Tournament Semifinal: Enzo & Big Cass vs The Dudley Boyz

The veteran Dudley Boyz controlled much of the early goings in this match, but things turned when Enzo moved out of the way of a Bubba Ray Senton. That led to Cass eventually hitting the Big Boot and then the Rocket Launcher earned them the pins. The finals of the Tag Team Tournament definitely aren’t going to be S-A-W-F-T!

Winners: Enzo & Big Cass

Biz Cliz Part 2: Electric Boogaloo

Roman Reigns was out for a promo, but was interrupted by AJ Styles. The two had an exchange about their match at Payback, but the champ was then jumped by Gallows and Anderson as they hit the Magic Killer to lay him out.

Styles swore backstage that he had nothing to do with the attack.

Baron Corbin vs. Fandango

This was a nothing match with Dolph Ziggler ringside. Corbin won with End of Days and then hit End of Days on Ziggler for good measure.

Winner: Big Banter Corbin

The Miz & League of Nations vs Cesaro & The New Day

The Miz and Maryse were out for MizTV when Cesaro interrupted. An argument led to an 8-man tag team match between the eight guys listed above. Though the match was tightly contested, Cesaro ultimately picked up the pinfall victory for his team by hitting The Neurtralizer to pick up the win.

Winner: Cesaro & The New Day

Natalya, Paige, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte, Team B.A.D., Summer Rae

This match was pretty short and sweet and really used to get Paige on TV and to build the Natty-Charlotte feud. Natty picked up the win with the Sharpshooter that made the Women’s Champion tap out.

Winners: Natalya, Sasha, Becky, Paige

Tag Team Tournament Semifinal: The Vaudevillains vs. The Usos

Though I’m still not convinced how long of a life this gimmick has on the main roster, The Vaudevillains are great in the ring and this match was fun. The NXT call-ups picked up the win and advanced to the finals against Enzo and Big Cass.

Winners: The Vaudevillains

Apollo Crews vs. Heath Slater

Take one guess how this match went? Definitely a squash match for Crews, who continues to look good.

Winner: Apollo Crews

Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose

This was a fun match and these two guys should wrestle forever. They really went all out at each other, but it was Ambrose that ultimately hit Dirty Deeds to pick up the win. The show wasn’t done, though, as Jericho came out and beat down his opponent at Payback to send a message.
