Crying Jordan shoes are now a thing (Photo)
The Crying Jordan meme has spread to a pair of customized pair of Air Jordan VIII’s.
Whether you love it or hate it, the Crying Jordan meme has made its mark on the sports world.
The image of Michael Jordan crying from his Hall of Fame induction speech has been photoshopped on almost everything. It’s almost like the sports world is looking forward to the next use of the Crying Jordan meme instead of watching sports excellence.
You can’t use the meme to celebrate something, you need a player to choke or a team to falter on the biggest stage for the proper use of the Crying Jordan meme.
Now, thanks to cryingkicks.com, you can see the Crying Jordan meme on a pair of Air Jordan VIIIs. The Jumpman logo has been replaced with the crying face.
According to ESPN, Andrew Weiss and Sherman Winfield are the brains behind the crying kicks and made them as an art project. They began the project in December of last year and don’t have plans of selling the crying Jordan kicks. They estimate their shoe collection has more than 125 pairs between them and are big fans of Nike and Jordan.
So as cool as it looks, you won’t be able to slide your feet into this beauty because it’s a one of a kind original and there won’t be any more like it.
Would you buy a pair of these shoes? If so, how much would you be willing to pay? Keep in mind the original pair is quite costly, so you’d be looking at a costly shoe investment to use as a show piece for your sports memorabilia collection.
