High Salary SG

Evan Turner-Boston Celtics (6,000): Turner slides over from his SF spot to become the highest-priced SG for tonight at 6K.  He came off the bench in Game One with ten points, eight boards, and five assists for 30.1 fantasy points, and he could be even more involved tonight since Boston will be without Avery Bradley. Turner can produce fantasy goodness in a variety of ways and is a balanced contributor. He has at least 20 fantasy points in each of his last eight games dating back to the regular season and has scored in double-digits in seven of those contests.  He’ll need to step up tonight, and Boston is at his best when he’s heavily involved.

Marcus Smart-Boston Celtics (5,600): Smart is the other Celtics player with a chance to step up in the absence of Avery.  He had 15 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals for 29 fantasy points in Game One, and he returned to practice yesterday after missing Sunday’s practice with a bruised finger. His offensive game is a bit spotty, but he is high-energy and always involved making him a solid option at this price even though I would choose Turner over him if I could only pick one.

Lance Stephenson-Memphis Grizzlies (5,100): Stephenson has scored at least ten points one each of his last eight games after piling up 14 points in his 29 minutes in Game One against the Spurs.  He had 20.4 fantasy points in that contest and has at least that many fantasy points in five of his last seven.  He has the potential to go off and the Grizz need an offensive spark from somewhere.  Stephenson is an interesting option who is loaded with upside even though he comes off the bench as the Grizzlies “X-factor.”
