When will the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics battle in Game 3 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs?
On Tuesday night, the Atlanta Hawks flexed their defensive muscles and showed that they’re going to be a serious contender in the Eastern Conference. With the Celtics almost stealing Game 1 and coming into Game 2 with plenty of momentum, the Hawks put their foot down early and held the Celtics to just seven points in the first quarter.
The offensively challenged Celtics struggled to put together any points on the board and while the Hawks weren’t much better, they showed that they can play a different style of game and grind out a victory when needed. With two huge wins and protecting their court, the Hawks will head to Boston where they will try to take the final two games of the series and complete the sweep.
For those that are wondering when Game 3 between the two teams will take place, it will take place on Friday and will be on TV on ESPN 2. Will the Hawks keep the Celtics limited offensively again, or will the Celtics find their surge?
