Pittsburgh Penguins at New York Rangers

The Pittsburgh Penguins will visit the New York Rangers at the legendary Madison Square Garden for Game 3 of their first round series in the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs. After opening the series with each team winning one game in Pittsburgh, the series moves to the city that never sleeps. The Pens will try to regroup and focus to play more like they did in Game 1, while New York will be looking to carry over their momentum from Game 2.

Centers Derek Stepan and Derick Brassard, forward Mats Zuccarello, forward J.T. Miller and goaltender Henrik Lundqvist will lead the way for the Rangers as they try to once again get the best of Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Miller is coming off a three assist performance against the Pens in Game 2.

The Penguins will be led by center Sidney Crosby, wing Phil Kessel (who scored the lone two goals by the Pens in Game 2), and defenseman Kris Letang. Goaltenders Marc Andre-Fleury and Matt Murray both have been practicing with the team recently, which could mean that Pittsburgh will replace incumbent goaltender Jeff Zatkoff with one of those two.

Game 3 will be aired nationally on USA Network in the United States and on Sportsnet in Canada. The puck will drop at 8:00 PM EST.
