NHL Playoffs: St. Louis Blues vs. Chicago Blackhawks Game 4 live stream: Watch online
Here is where you can watch the Game 4 of the NHL playoffs first round series between the St. Louis Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks.
The St. Louis Blues won a playoff game at the United Center for the first time in 14 years in Game 3 of their series against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Blues have now won their last six road games, making their record 14-3-0 for away matches. If Chicago wants to remain alive in the postseason, they desperately need to win at home tonight. A Blackhawks win would be just the team’s third in its last nine games played on home ice.
The Blues trailed Chicago 2-1 at the start of the third period. St. Louis’s victory was a clear result of Chicago self-destruction, as Patrick Kane’s four-minut,e double minor penalty for high-sticking Alex Pietrangelo gave the Blues an extended power play advantage. With 13:33 remaining in the third period, Blues left wing Jaden Schwartz fired one into the net, allowing the Blues to gain a 3-2 lead with just 6:38 remaining in Game 3.
With Game 3’s victory, the Blues lead the series 2-1. Grabbing Game 4 gives the Blues not only the commanding lead but also brings them just one game away from advancing further into the playoffs (all while eliminating their worst rival, the Blackhawks).
Though the Blackhawks are often cited as the most talented team in the league, with two Stanley Cup wins in the last five years, the distinction between these two Central Division teams is growing thinner and thinner as the playoffs go on. Each of the last five games played between Chicago and St. Louis have been decided by one goal, with four of them favoring St. Louis.
