13. . LB. USC. Junior Seau. 1. player

Junior Seau has to be the unanimous pick for the best player drafted by the Chargers. Although the other four players have been great players for the Chargers, Seau was one of the most dominant players in the league for over a decade. He was drafted by the Chargers in the 1990 draft number five overall (they have this pick a lot it seems).

Seau faithfully led this team through the 1990s. He went to 12 straight pro bowls while racking up 1,286 tackles to go along with 47 sacks in his career at linebacker. Although he finished his career in New England as a Patriot, the Chargers will always claim him as their own.

He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015, three years after his tragic, sudden death. He was a passionate player and will always be remembered as one of the best linebackers to take the field, not just for the Chargers.

His thirteen seasons with the Chargers and 12 pro bowls straight make him the easy pick for the best overall draft pick by the San Diego Chargers.
