The Washington Redskins have one of the longest histories of any NFL team. They began play way back in 1932 as the Boston Braves, but five years later they relocated to the nation’s capital and took on the moniker they are known by today.
During their 84 years of existence, they have made some major headlines in good ways (like their three Super Bowl wins and two NFL Championships), as well as some in bad ways (like their recent issues with their team nickname as well as several blunders by current owner Daniel Snyder).
