What are some of the things that we need to watch out for in the Arkansas Spring Game on Saturday?
The college football spring season will be rolling along this weekend, and without a doubt one of the scrimmages that everyone will have their eyes on features an up-and-comer in the SEC West, the Arkansas Razorbacks who take the field this Saturday.
Whether you love him, hate him or are indifferent towards him, you simply can’t deny that Bret Bielema has had an impact on this program since he arrived from Wisconsin in 2013. They have improved each season, going 3-9 in that ’13 season, 7-6 in 2014 and 8-5 last season. Not to mention, the last two campaigns both ended in bowl wins, with the latest coming last season, a 45-23 victory over Bill Snyder and the Kansas State Wildcats in the Liberty Bowl.
Should the trend continue, it might not be long before the Razorbacks, under the direction of Bielema, are beginning to make some serious noise in that polarizing SEC West. Should things keep looking on the up-and-up, it may not be long before they’re mentioned in the same breath as Alabama and LSU.
Surely, with the positive success in recent years, more and more people are turning their attention to this Arkansas football program and many will be watching on Saturday afternoon when they take the field for their annual Red-White Spring Game.
So, what are a few of the aspects of this game to look out for on Saturday as Arkansas gets set for a possible run in the SEC this season?
