Charles Barkley rips Reggie Miller, calls him ‘worst analyst on TV’

Charles Barkley didn’t hold back with his thoughts about fellow TNT analyst Reggie Miller following Tuesday’s San Antonio-Memphis game.

There are fans of the NBA and basketball in general who absolutely love the group of former players that make up TNT’s coverage of the league and its postseason. At the same time, there are also plenty of fans who can’t stand listening to Shaq, Reggie Miller and the round mound of commentary, Charles Barkley.

The basketball Hall of Famer hasn’t been known to hold is tongue since joining the Turner Sports team years ago, and now Barkley isn’t holding back in what he thinks about his former on-court nemesis and current co-worker, Miller.

Following Tuesday’s game between the San Antonio Spurs and Memphis Grizzlies, Barkley had something to say about Miller’s skills based on a comment the latter made during the broadcast:

Now in Barkley’s defense, he was talking about Miller’s comments during the game, where the former Indiana Pacers legend said the Grizzlies would play much better at home in Game 3 after being manhandled during the first two games in the series, both played in San Antonio.

Still, Barkley’s comments have social media buzzing. People can’t believe that someone who, while hilarious and insightful, butchers the English language on television like he’s a deli owner, would make a comment at all about another analyst, especially someone who is on the same payroll.

The NBA on TNT will continue through the rest of the postseason, with the network being the official home for the Western Conference Finals (which will, barring a major upset, be a showdown between the Spurs and the Golden State Warriors).
