5. Kendall Graveman-Oakland Athletics

Graveman makes his third start of the season tonight in a tough matchup and setting as he takes the mound at Yankee Stadium.  The A’s knocked off New York last night 3-2 in 11 innings, though, so low-scoring games are possible

Gravemen has gotten little run support and help from his bullpen in his first two starts allowing just three earned runs in 11.1 total innings but coming into tonight’s game with an 0-1 record to show for it.  His 2.38 ERA and 0.88 WHIP are impressive, but he doesn’t typically pile up enough strikeouts to be an option worth keeping for the long haul on your fantasy baseball team.

However, if you are looking for just a one-start, streaming option Graveman is worth a look given his early-season success.  He’s owned in under 2% of ESPN leagues, so you should be able to plug-and-play him tonight or take advantage of his reduced salary in DFS fantasy baseball.
