Kelly Ripa skips ‘Live with Kelly and Michael’ over Michael Strahan departure

Kelly Ripa is so upset about the Michael Strahan news that she just didn’t go to work
In the entertainment world on Tuesday, there was some shocking news, that being Michael Strahan will no longer be a part of Live with Kelly and Michael. As he continues to move up that broadcast ladder within ABC and Disney, Strahan will be joining the Good Morning America cast full time.
Now one thing we did find out amid all of this news was that we were not the only ones blindsided by this news. No, apparently, believe it or not, his co-host Kelly Ripa had no idea this was coming either, as Strahan was told to keep the promotion a secret. Well, she was not shy about showing off her anger.
When the show aired on Wednesday morning and Strahan was ready to explain his move, Ripa was not there by his side. No, rather Ana Gasteyer was sitting in her place, leaving some rather confused.
, Ripa feels disrespected that she was not given the heads up about her co-host leaving, and as such, she decided that she was not fit to get to work on Wednesday to sit through the announcement that she feels she should have known about for a while now.
Also, she might just go right ahead and take the rest of the week off.
So, can you blame her?
