With the Cleveland Browns reportedly listening to offers, the Buffalo Bills haven’t ruled out a move for the second overall pick in next week’s NFL Draft.
We’re still just over one week until the 32 NFL teams meet in Chicago and select who they want to join their franchise in the 2016 NFL Draft, but the excitement has already started with teams trading spots like it’s going out of style.
Last week, it was the Los Angeles Rams pulling off a move with the Tennessee Titans where the teams exchanged a boatload of picks so that the Rams could move up and take the top overall pick (reportedly to pick either quarterback Carson Wentz or Jared Goff), while the Titans are still trying to work a move to get back in the top 10.
Now, the Cleveland Browns have let it be known the number two pick can be bought for the right price, and one potential partner in any deal could be the Buffalo Bills. When asked about a possible trade with Cleveland, general manager Doug Whaley didn’t dismiss the idea to a local radio station:
#Bills GM Doug Whaley tells @WGR550 "we're open to do anything" in response to ? about moving to No. 2 pick of draft.

In recent weeks, the Buffalo Bills have done their homework on Goff, who broke passing records while quarterbacking for the Cal Golden Bears … which could explain why the team still hasn’t worked out a long term deal with their current starting quarterback, Tyrod Taylor.
With reports continuing to fly that Wentz will be the Rams’ pick at No. 1, the Bills might be ready to move to get their player. If they do make a trade, it would be the first time in franchise history the Bills have had the second overall pick in the draft (they have had the first pick four times).
