NHL Playoffs: What channel is Panthers vs. Islanders Game 4 on?
Here’s where to catch Game 4 of the Eastern Conference first round playoff series between the Florida Panthers and New York Islanders on TV.
After opening the playoff era at the Barclays Center in style, the New York Islanders will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in their Eastern Conference first round playoff series with the Florida Panthers in Wednesday night’s Game 4.
Puck drop for Game 4 is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday night. USA Network will have television coverage for the game, with live streaming also available on NBC Sports Live Extra.
The Islanders came from behind yet again in a 4-3 overtime win in Game 3 following a split of the opening two contests in Florida. Thomas Hickey scored the game-winner with just over 12 minutes gone in the first overtime, while John Taveras tallied two more assists to continue his terrific series.
Backup goalie Thomas Greiss has also been solid, and shook off a tough second period to hold the Panthers off the board in the third and overtime.
While the Panthers piled up the defensive miscues, including on the game-winner, their potent offense gives them a great chance to get back in the series. Reilly Smith leads all players with four goals in the 2016 playoffs, as the Panthers’ second line has been tough for the Islanders to deal with.
The Panthers will need goaltender Roberto Luongo at his best for the rest of the series, as he’s been up-and-down throughout his playoff career.
