Golden State Warriors vs. Houston Rockets

While the Golden State Warriors have rolled to a 2-0 lead in their first round series in the 2016 NBA Playoffs against the Houston Rockets, they are still facing some major questions as the series now shifts to Houston and the Toyota Center for Game 3 on Thursday night. Of course, reigning MVP and the leader for the Warriors in Stephen Curry is at the heart of the question.

After injuring his ankle in the Game 1 win for the Warriors, Curry sat out for Game 2 to preserve his health and make sure he’s good to go. It ultimately didn’t matter behind strong efforts from Klay Thompson and Draymond Green as the defending champs picked up their second win in the series. Now the question is whether or not to keep Curry on the sidelines to save him for later in the NBA Playoffs or rather to bring him back and put away Houston with ease. Given how uninterested James Harden and Dwight Howard have appeared for the Rockets through the first two games of the series, sitting Curry might actually be the better choice for the Warriors as they still might not have any trouble completing the sweep of Houston.
