According to a rumor, Josh Norman and the Washington Redskins could have a big deal in place by Friday.
The Carolina Panthers made an unprecedented move when they rescinded their franchise tag from superstar cornerback Josh Norman and allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent. As soon as Norman hit the market, he had no shortage of suitors and had several teams after his services.
On Thursday, it was announced that Norman would be visiting the Washington Redskins on Friday. Well it looks like that things are getting pretty serious and this whole thing could be wrapped up soon.
According to Peter Schrager, the Redskins and Norman could have a deal in place by the end of Friday.

When the Panthers rescinded their tag from Norman, it was because he wanted more money than Carolina was willing to pay. The good news is that on the market, he will get paid whatever it is he desires. Daniel Snyder has never been afraid to shell out the bucks and this is a move that makes sense for the Redskins.
The team has done a good job recently of building a physical team that is a few pieces away from maybe jumping into the contenders category. If the Redskins do indeed add Norman, then that is a huge boost to their secondary and life for opposing quarterbacks will become even tougher.
It also will give NFL fans a chance to see him take on Odell Beckham Jr. and Dez Bryant twice apiece every year. Might as well throw in the training camp battles with DeSean Jackson too. It looks like Norman might be closing in on a new home.
