Cleveland Indians prospect breaks bat over knee after strikeout (video)

Clint Frazier, a member of the Cleveland Indians’ Double-A affiliate, took out his frustration after striking out on the bat.
In sports, athletes can sometimes take out their frustrations on objects that they see on the sideline or the field of play. Everything from water coolers to telephones to folding chairs have fallen victim to what takes place during the action.
While some players don’t believe in the saying about “Don’t blame your tools”, Cleveland Indians minor league prospect Clint Frazier isn’t one of those. A outfield for the Double A affiliate Akron RubberDucks (seriously, that’s their nickname), Frazier was not happy with himself during Tuesday’s game against Binghamton.
In the ninth inning with the game tied, Frazier struck out to send the game into extra innings. Well, the possibly future Cleveland Indians outfielder decided to celebrate by breaking his bat over his knee on the way back to the dugout:
Frazier, who was the fifth overall pick of the Cleveland Indians in the 2013 MLB Draft, has a bright future ahead of him with the big club, so he might want to take it easy on his leg and also make sure he has enough lumber for that eventual call up to “the show”.
