Major League Baseball is ready for a huge Friday night with all 30 teams taking the field under the lights tonight. As you get ready for tonight’s 15 games, there are plenty of starting pitchers you can check out on the waiver wire, but there are some that I think have better upside than other options.  To see who I think you should target, check out my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for this Friday night on the following slides.

More from Boston Red Sox

Each of the pitchers highlighted in the following slides is schedule to take the mound tonight, and as of this morning, they are available in over 50% of ESPN leagues.  Each morning, you can find these “best available” starting pitchers on our FanSided fantasy baseball hub. These fantasy baseball streaming pitchers make good pickup options for standard leagues, but they can also be used as value options if you’re building a lineup for daily league fantasy baseball.

Yesterday, I had mixed results totaling a solid 3-1 record while my five picks allowed ten earned runs total in their 28 innings for a 3.21 ERA.  I missed on the Reds’ Brandon Finnegan who got knocked around bye the Cubs who are getting to be a “stay-away” matchup. My top three options really stepped up, though, as Marco Estrada, Rich Hill, and Jered Weaver  allowed one earned run each and struck out a total of 21 batters in 18 innings.  Rich Hill led the way with ten K’s in six innings while allowing just three hits and one earned run.

If you want to discuss your fantasy baseball streaming pitchers, other waiver wire pickups, offer alternative options, or let me know how our fantasy baseball coverage can be more of a help to you, find me throughout the day @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. In the coming weeks as the NBA playoffs start to slow down, we’ll be able to expand our daily league fantasy baseball coverage, so stay tuned.

With a great start to the weekend ahead tonight, get your fantasy starting pitchers lined up with the help of my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for this Friday, April 22:
