What channel can fans catch what promises to be an epic Game 5 between the Philadelphia Flyers and Washington Capitals on?

After escaping Game 4 with a win to extend their postseason, the Flyers will be looking for a repeat performance as they fight for their playoff lives in Game 5. They will be looking to extend their series against the Washington Capitals, which Washington currently leads 3-1 in the best of seven series. It won’t be easy as the Flyers will have to travel down I-95 to Washington DC to take on the Capitals at the Verizon Center.

Washington will look to end the series as they have a bigger goal in mind: the Stanley Cup. Goaltender Braden Holtby, defenseman John Carlson, and captain Alex Ovechkin will look to ensure that the Flyers’ postseason run ends on Friday night as they look to avoid having the distinction of being one of the only teams to ever give up a 3-0 series lead. Meanwhile, the Flyers will continue to go with Michal Neuvirth in goal as they look to force a Game 6 in Philly. Neuvirth outperformed Holtby in Game 4, making 31 of 32 saves.

Fans can watch what Game 5, which could be the final game of the Flyers’ postseason on NBC Sports Network beginning at 7:00 PM EST. If you aren’t near a television, you can still watch the game on your computer or smartphone at NBC Sports Live Extra.
