Clint Stoerner brought back a lot of memories for Arkansas fans on Saturday by doing this
As the college football spring season wraps up, one of the last games to take center stage on Saturday featured none other than the Arkansas Razorbacks. And although it’s the year 2016, they decided to take things back to 1999, as they had the resources to do it.
In attendance covering the game for the SEC Network was former Arkansas quarterback Clint Stoerner. Now when it comes to Stoerner, there’s really one thing that Arkansas fans remember most, that being his infamous touchdown pass to Anthony Lucas in ’99 to upset the No. 3 Tennessee Volunteers.
Well, on Saturday, Stoerner threw on the jersey and recreated the pass to Lucas for everyone in attendance.
Now you know that every Razorbacks fan in attendance absolutely loved this, as it made them remember that moment against Tennessee all the way back in 1999. When you can make college football fans feel a little nostalgic, you have to take that opportunity, especially for a passionate fan base like Arkansas.
All that’s left now is for the team to have a similar year this year to the one that they had in 1999, when they finished 8-4 with a Cotton Bowl win.
