VS.

A look at the battle from Saturday night between Gennady Golovkin and Dominic Wade
There are few legitimate stars in the world of boxing at the moment, but without a doubt one of them is taking center stage on Saturday night. Gennady āGGGā Golovkin will get back into the ring to put his three middleweight titles on the line, this time against up-and-coming challenger Dominic Wade.
Golovkin is coming into this one on a tear as everyone knows. Heās 34-0 with 31 of those wins coming by knockout, but maybe most impressively of all, heās on a 21 consecutive fight knockout streak. Basically, men are getting into the ring with him and theyāre not seeing the end of the 12th round, itās nearly a guarantee.
Wade comes into this fight looking to absolutely stun the boxing world with an undefeated record of 18-0 with 12 of those wins coming via knockout. However, this young man has never been in the ring to this point with someone the likes of GGG, so he might not be pleased with the way this one plays out on Saturday night in Inglewood.
Whatever the case ultimately ends up being, itās always quite the event when Golovkin gets into the ring to throw them hands, and you can follow along below with the fight as it takes place.

GGG gets on the attack early and Wade seems just a bit off guard as heās trying to figure out the early strategy. Already here in Round 1, Golovkin lands one of those left hooks to the body. The champ is really aggressive here in the first round, trying to get as many of those body shots in as he can.Ā Near the end of the round, Golovkin got the first knock down of the fight. Wade barely survives the first round.

Round 2
Golovkin comes right out after the hot finish to the first round and lands some more power shots to the body as he tries to end this early.
He did just that, knocking Wade down two more times in the second and it was over. Golovkin now has 22 straight knockouts.
