Finn Balor addressed rumors he’s going to the main roster at a house show on Saturday, saying he’s staying in NXT
Finn Balor coming up to the main roster is something that WWE fans have been clamoring for for quite some time. He’s one of the most talented professional wrestlers in the entire world and has been dominating in NXT for over a year at this point. However, his recent loss to Samoa Joe at an NXT house show to drop the title in addition to the arrival of Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows on the main roster (his former faction-mates in New Japan Pro Wrestling) have caused many to speculate that Finn Balor is going to be called up sooner rather than later
On Saturday night, though, NXT held another house show in Poughkeepsie, NY and Finn Balor was in the main event. In that spot, the man known as “The Demon” addressed the crowd and the rumors by saying that Samoa Joe shouldn’t rest easy because Finn Balor is “here to stay” in NXT:
Now let’s be the first to address the fact that this is WWE and pro wrestling and that a wrestler lying to help create a surprise is commonplace. So if Finn Balor shows up on the main roster soon after saying this, it wouldn’t be earth-shattering.
However, it’s at least intriguing that they allowed Balor to address these rumors and even more so if he’s telling the truth and is staying in NXT. Either way, the fate of Finn Balor is something all wrestling and WWE fans need to keep an eye on for the near future.
