Steph Curry suffered another injury against the Rockets, but this time it looked really bad.
Update: Curry hobbled to the locker room but returned to the court shortly thereafter. His full status is still unknown, despite returning to the floor.
Update 1: While Curry made his way to the court for the second half, he didn’t start and was seen going back to the locker room.
Update 2: Curry has been diagnosed with a sprained knee. If the Warriors have even remote sensibility — which they do — this means Curry is done until Round 2.
Update 3: After an MRI, it has been revealed Curry has a Grade 1 MCL sprain and will miss two weeks. This puts his return date around Game 5 of the Conference Semifinals.
Vertical Sources: Steph Curry's MRI on knee has returned negative, no damage, a Grade 1 sprain. Could miss two weeks.

The last thing the Golden State Warriors needed was to have an injury derail their season. That absolute last thing they needed was for that injury to happen to Steph Curry in the postseason.
That might have just happened.
Here’s a look at the injury, which was nasty to see:
That’s a far cry from the tweak he appeared to have suffered in the first game of this series. No one wants to say it, but that looks like something that could result in a torn ACL diagnosis.
Right now, it’s impossible to know if this is serious or just an intense scare. Curry limped badly to the locker room where he underwent further evaluation.
While you may hate the Warriors, Steph tearing his ACL is about the worst thing that could happen to basketball. Some might argue it’s the best thing as it resets the balance that the Dubs have unfairly swung their way after a historic season. It almost seems fitting that something so massive — that was made to look so easy — would end up not as a historic success but in the infamous ‘What-If’ column of sports history.
Of course, best case scenario is this isn’t anything serious. But lord knows that Basketball Gods aren’t that forgiving.
