Stephen Curry looks to be good to go for Sunday’s game vs the Rockets after missing two contests.

In Game 1 of the NBA Playoffs series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets, Stephen Curry appeared to suffer an ankle injury. It would force him to leave the game in which the Warriors won.

Curry would end up missing the next two games of the series, possibly just as a precaution. Golden State would win Game 2 but fall in Game 3 after a game-clinching shot by James Harden in the closing seconds. While the Curry-less Warriors were able to hang with the Rockets, they obviously seemed like a different team.

Thankfully for them, they will be getting Curry back for Game 4 on Sunday as he has been declared active.

This is huge news for the Warriors, who will need to get great production from Curry as the series stays in Houston on Sunday. We’ll have to see how he looks on the ankle but only having to miss just two games might deem the injury minor then.

A Warriors win would send the series back to Golden State for Game 5. Many expect the Warriors to win this series barring a miraculous run from the Rockets, who might be under reconstruction this offseason given all their turmoil. Stephen Curry is needed for this to be a clean run through the series, though, and that should be the case over the next few games.
