Toyota Owners 400 2016: Official Results from Richmond

Here are the official results from the 2016 Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway.

After a pretty quiet day at Richmond International Raceway, the 2016 Toyota Owners 400 had one of the most exciting finishes of the season. With one turn remaining on the final lap of the race, it looked like Kyle Busch would be picking up his third win in four races.

He had a lead over his teammate Carl Edwards and wasn’t far from the finish line. As Busch tried to hold Edwards off, Edwards decided to bump Busch out of the way, which caused him to get loose and he was able to steal the win from his  teammate.

It was the second time this season that Edwards tried to bump someone for the win, after he did the same thing to Kevin Harvick earlier in the year at Phoenix. This time it did work and as a result, Edwards has won his second-consecutive race, while Joe Gibbs Racing has now won four straight races overall as a team.
