Toyota Owners 400 2016: Starting grid, lineup
Here is the complete starting grid and lineup for the 2016 Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond International Raceway on Sunday.
It’s time for some more short-track racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. On Sunday, NASCAR’s best will head to Richmond International Raceway for the 2016 Toyota Owners 400. After a rain out in qualifying on Friday, Kevin Harvick will sit atop the pole because he had the best practice time.
Alongside Harvick will be an individual that had a ton of success in 2015, but has yet to chase victory in 2016, Joey Logano. Logano had a great run of practice and with his success at short-track racing, should be one of the favorites to enter victory lane for the first time this season.
A seventh spot in the Chase is on the line and Logano seems like the type of driver that is primed to take and it clinch his spot in the Chase once and for all this year. It should be a competitive race and track conditions should make for an even more interesting time.
