3. Bob Wischusen

Bob Wischusen is a name that most familiar with ESPN television personalities haven’t probably heard of. That’s because he does phenomenal work doing ESPN radio covering college football and college basketball.

Wischusen is also the voice of both the AFC’s New York Jets and the MLS’ New York Red Bulls. Could Wischusen make the transition from radio to television? Potentially, as Gruden is well-established at what he does in the booth as the national color commentary guy.

He’ll be on camera, but NFL fanatics are more interested in what goes on in the game that what somebody does in the booth. Wischusen has the voice, the ESPN connection, and the NFL in-game experience to be a potential replacement for Tirico in the Monday Night Football booth.

Given the lack of television work, this is certainly a long-shot, but ESPN needs to get creative to spice up its so-so Monday Night Football game. While Tirico and Gruden were a fantastic duo, the NFL usually doesn’t give ESPN great matchups for their one weekly game. Perhaps bringing in the Voice of the Jets could make things interesting?
