The Internet held nothing back against the Chicago Blackhawks after they lost in Game 7.

It was only a matter of time before Crying Jordan took over hockey, and the Chicago Blackhawks’ Game 7 loss to St. Louis was the perfect time for it to happen. One has to think that Michael Jordan is a Blackhawks fan considering he spent his formative years with the Bulls, but even so, losing to a Blues team that Chicago has gotten the better of for so many years has to be very satisfying for St. Louis.

It also has to be very sad for Blackhawks fans, who endured a first-round loss a year after winning the Stanley Cup. But it’s the Internet, and did you really expect anyone to feel sorry for them?

Here are all the Crying Jordan memes that flooded social media after St. Louis’ thrilling Game 7 win:

It would be a lot easier to feel sympathy for the Blackhawks if they didn’t experience so much recent success. With three Stanley Cups in the last six years, an outdoor game seemingly every year, as well as two of the best players in the league on the same team, it’s about time something didn’t go their way. And with fans around the league accusing them of getting preferential treatment, it’s not hard to think that everyone outside of Chicago isn’t enjoying this.

The Blackhawks are a great team, though, and they will bounce back from this. You can’t win the Stanley Cup every year, especially as it’s considered the hardest trophy to win in all of sports. As for St. Louis, you can’t help but feel happy for them and their fanbase, especially after losing an NFL team.

Enjoy the second round Blues fans, although it won’t get any easier for them with the Dallas Stars.
