High Value SG

Wesley Matthews-Dallas Mavericks (4,900): Despite all the Mavericks injuries, the team continues to play hard and Matthews found a bit of his rhythm in Game 3 with 22 points and 34 fantasy points and carried that over to Game 4 when he had 19 points and 20.9 fantasy points while playing a massive 38 minutes.  With Deron Williams officially out for the season, Matthews will play extremely heavy minutes for however long the Mavs can extend the series.  His 13 total points in the first two games of the series in OKC are cause for concern, but he has shown signs of turning the corner.

Jeremy Lin-Charlotte Hornets (4,700): With Nicolas Batum possibly out for the series, Jeremy Lin stepped up for Charlotte in Game 3 even though he was still coming off the bench.  Lin scored 18 points in his 26 minutes while adding four assists and four rebounds to get to 30.8 fantasy points. He has stepped up throughout the season when called upon to fill in for Batum, and I think he’ll continue his strong production tonight. Charlotte needs him to spark their offense if they want to beat the Heat and level their series 2-2 before heading back to South Beach. There is a chance Batum plays tonight, but I think Lin will get his chance to make an impact, so I love him at this price tonight.

Josh Richardson-Miami Heat (4,100): Richardson posted 19 fantasy points or more in each of the first two games of the series but only managed 8.4 fantasy points in Miami’s Game 3 loss with two points, two rebounds, and two assists.  In good new for Richardson investors, he did play a still-busy 29 minutes and should keep getting plenty of time as the team’s primary backup guard.  Despite his disappointment in Game 3, I think he’ll bounce back tonight and be a solid value play once again.

Devin Harris-Dallas Mavericks (3,500): If you have to go all the way to the minimum, the best SG option for tonight is Devin Harris who will keep getting extra run with Williams out and Barea ailing.  Harris scored 12 points in his 24 minutes in Game 4, and he had 23.4 fantasy points in Game 2 as well. Harris should get 20+ minutes again tonight which is enough to make him a decent option at such a cheap price.
