Draymond Green went off on a Houston reporter following an odd question after Sunday’s Game Four win over the Rockets.

Sunday, the Golden State Warriors put on a three point shooting clinic in their Game Four win over the Houston Rockets in the first round series between the teams. The Warriors, even without reigning MVP and three point record holder Steph Curry, still dropped 21 baskets from behind the arc to set a NBA playoff record.

The win game after the Rockets’ victory in Game Three on a last second basket (one the league would later say shouldn’t have counted) as Houston was playing with some emotion for a city that has been dealing with weather woes and dangerous flooding of late.

Last season, the same thing happen after Game Four of the Western Conference Finals between the two teams…but no reporter would be stupid enough to try and put the two things together, right?

Wrong.

Following Sunday’s win, Warriors star Draymond Green (who had four of those baskets during the game) was asked by a reporter about the correlation between the events. Green was not having any of it and went all in on the “journalist”:

Mad kudos to Green for putting that man in his place at a time when inappropriate and poorly timed jokes had been made about the Warriors “raining threes” from people on social media, the citizens of that area are suffering.

Here’s hoping those people get the help they need and that “reporter” gets his credentials revoked if the series returns for a potential Game Six.
