WR. TCU. Josh Doctson. 23. player. 60.
There was a little bit of cheating to get Josh Doctson in his best possible landing spot. In my mind, there is a clear distinction between Doctson and the other options at wide receiver in this range, but with that in mind, the Vikings desperately need a legitimate number one candidate on the outside, and Doctson fits that bill beautifully.

More so than Will Fuller or Baylor’s Corey Coleman (he is coming soon), Doctson brings the complete package to the table as a player with size, speed and ball skills. He is considerably slower, at least in the 40-yard dash, than both of his counterparts, but Doctson is the best player in this class when it comes to “winning” down the field when the ball is in the air.

Minnesota has failed to provide Teddy Bridgewater with enough quality weapons on the outside and, eventually, Adrian Peterson is going to transform from a primary to a secondary option. When that happens, Bridgewater will need a partner in crime for the next several seasons, and I believe that Josh Doctson is ready to take up that mantle as a number one wide receiver in the NFL.
