NHL Playoffs: Blues vs. Blackhawks Game 7 live stream: Watch online
Here is where you can watch the Game 6 of the NHL playoffs first round series between the St. Louis Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks.
In the first Game 7 of the 2016 Stanley Cup Playoffs, the Blues host the defending champs in the Scottrade Center to hopefully dethrone the Blackhawks at home. St. Louis last played in a Game 7 in 2003, when they were 4-1 losers to the Vancouver Canucks; meanwhile, the Blackhawks won Game 7 of the Western Conference Final in 2015 to advance to the Stanley Cup Final, where they would win yet another Stanley Cup.
According to the NHL, home teams are 94-67 (.584) all-time in Game 7s. The team that scores first is 119-42 (.739). Forty Game 7’s have gone to overtime, with the home and road teams each winning 20 of those games.
After trailing behind St. Louis 3-1 in the series and 3-1 in Game 6, Chicago ultimately evened the playing field, tying the series 3-3 and defeating the Blues 6-3.
Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko has unquestionably been the best player in this series, possibly in the entire first round of the playoffs. He has played in 19 postseason games in his career and has already scored 14 goals, setting a league record. Meanwhile, the usual suspects on the Blackhawks have been surprisingly lax in the scoring department. League leading scorer Patrick Kane has six assists but only made one goal in the six games of the postseason, and captain Jonathan Toews with five assists has yet to score a single goal. This is actually the sixth time in a postseason that he has gone at least six consecutive games without scoring.
