The Blues’ organist fired a parting shot at the Blackhawks after beating them in Game 7 by playing Chelsea Dagger in minor key.

The St. Louis Blues beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in an epic Game 7 fitting of the unforgettable first-round series between the two teams. It’s a shame that was a first round matchup because that was a Western Conference Finals worthy series. St. Louis wasted no time in rubbing in their victory to their Central Division rival Blackhawks as their organist Jeremy Boyer trolled Chicago by playing a few bars from “Chelsea Dagger”, the Blackhawks’ goal song, during the post-series handshakes.

Boyer does an amazing job using a funeral style medley but he throws in some Dagger subtly by doing so in a minor key. That’s simply brilliant. Though St. Louis might have promised no more Chelsea Dagger on Twitter, Boyer decided to grant an exception to troll the Blackhawks and everyone is glad that he did.

It was a great series between St. Louis and Chicago. The Blues finally cast aside one of their greatest playoff demons and will go on to face the Dallas Stars in the second round. Might fans witness some Pantera on the organ if St. Louis advances past the Stars?
