Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul hurt his wrist and left Game 4 against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The Los Angeles Clippers and NBA fans alike held their breath on Monday night, when Clippers point guard Chris Paul hurt his wrist during Game 4 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers.

As Paul was driving the ball in the lane, it appeared he hurt his wrist as he hit it on the back of Gerald Henderson.

On the bench, Paul would realize he would need to go back and was upset on his way to the back.

Based on Paul’s reaction to the injury, it’s obvious it wasn’t a good one and the hand/wrist that is hurt is that of his dominant hand. Without Paul on the floor for the Clippers, the series certainly changes a lot, as Paul is the one player the team can’t afford to lose in the playoffs.

His offensive production and his work on the defensive end can’t be matched. He was doing a great job of feeding his teammates with assists and finding the open looks in Game 4 before he got hurt. Hopefully it will turn out to be okay.
