NBA Playoffs: Clippers vs. Trail Blazers Game 4 recap, full highlights
The Portland Trail Blazers had yet another big win at home to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers and even the series.
The series between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers may have changed on Monday night. With the Clippers once again rolling at home en route to a series-tying win, Chris Paul would fracture his right hand and the Clippers suddenly lost their best player.
Early on, the game resembled that of the first three games of the series and the Trail Blazers held a slight advantage in a tight contest. However, unlike the first two games, the Clippers weren’t able to pull away and find their groove offensively.
The game would remain a tight contest in the Blazers’ advantage into the third quarter, when Paul hurt his hand. As Gerald Henderson drove to the hoop, Paul’s hand bent in awkward spot on the back of Henderson.
Trainers would tend to Paul on the sideline, but he would have to head to the back to get it checked out. News would circulate that he fractured his right hand and without him on the floor, it was clear that the Trail Blazers were stealing the momentum of the series. To make matters worse for the Clippers, Blake Griffins quadriceps began bothering him yet again.
The lane started opening up and the guards of the Trail Blazers were able to start penetrating and finding multiple options like Al-Farouq Aminu. Aminu was grabbing offensive rebounds and scoring the basketball. He was hitting open looks from beyond the arc and the Clippers didn’t have anyone to body him up.
With Paul off the floor, the Trail Blazers took a close game and ran away with it to even the series at two games apiece.

Three Stars
3. C.J. McCollum
McCollum was once again very efficient scoring the basketball. He hit some shots from deep and was once again the go-to scoring option besides Aminu and Lillard.
2. Miles Plumlee
Once again Plumlee wasn’t much on offense, but he was huge down low on the boards. Against DeAndre Jordan, what he is doing this series is incredible.
1. Al-Farouq Aminu
Aminu was all over the place for the Trail Blazers on Monday night. He was grabbing big offensive rebounds, but he was scorching the Clippers with his scoring ability. He finished with 28 points and 8 rebounds.
Betting Odds
The Clippers came into the game as a 3.5-point favorite. With the loss, they failed to cover the spread.
