Adam LaRoche subtweets Sox about take your child to work day
Former Chicago White Sox first baseman Adam LaRoche wants to remind you that tomorrow is take your child to work day.
Adam LaRoche retired in spring training after Chicago White Sox president Ken Williams told him his son Drake wasn’t welcome in the clubhouse as much as he was last year. The younger LaRoche traveled with the team the entire season last year and was reportedly a welcome presence in the clubhouse, but Williams telling Adam his son wasn’t welcome resulted in his sudden retirement.

The White Sox haven’t missed his bat so far this season and LaRoche seems content in retirement but he also wants to remind everyone that tomorrow is national bring your child to work day.
Now, this is pretty hilarious. The story was one of the more overblown stories in March and early April when the fallout was still fresh and this is sure to get the conversation flowing again.
It’s a great thing that parents can take their child to work for a day and let them see what their mom and dad do at work, but critics of LaRoche’s parenting style will quickly point out it is take your child to work DAY and not take your child to work every single day.
With LaRoche retired, where will he take Drake tomorrow?
